I have been carrying around for quite sometime this issue of Elle Decor. Why you ask? Well I am truly inspired and have been for years now by Meg Ryan’s home on Martha’s Vineyard. It’s what got my juices flowing for the whole industrial/ loft home,(even though hers is a post and beam),that has now turned into my dream place someday. Although Meg had a huge hand in the design of her home she also called on friend and interior designer Marsha Russell of Satinwood and together they created a masterpiece of serenity a home that is truly more about the beauty of it’s surroundings then the interference of the things inside. I come across a lot of designs that combine color on color and pattern on pattern and although I think they are beautiful,this home speaks to me on more then one level. Really at the end of the day I know I could have this magazine for 10 more years and this home will never age or date. Good job Meg!

This feature definitely changed my perspective on the white color scheme. Love,love,love it. The mix of casual, antique, industrial, and quirky. So comfortable, so yummy, so amazing.
This is my idea of a perfect home. Very neat, bright and yet comfortable. A lovely love nest for a lovely young lady. What a pity I am too old to share it.
