This is Karen Bertelsen(trying to look cute blah,blah,blah), you may recognize her from HGTV,she is also a 13 year veteran of Canadian television.
I first really took notice of Karen when she and her home appeared in this Style at Home issue.
She managed to transform her home in just 4 weeks and did everything I mean everything on a tight budget! Not only that but she is a serious DIYer and for that she gets a thumbs up seeing as she is girl after my own heart. Here are some picture of her very stylish home.

Something else you may not know about Karen is that now she is a full time blogger at The Art Of Doing Stuff,where she shares her DIY’s such as her chicken coop,she built this thing herself!

You can also here her talk about her recipes ,she’s a killer cook,as well as just general daily garble! The point here is she has the most amazing amount of dedicated readers I have ever seen and “they” meaning me too will comment on things that really half the time have no reference really to anything,but she is so damn funny in the most sarcastic way that you just keep going back for more punishment! And she can pretty much get anyone to do anything for her. Last week she actually got a designer to design chicken coop doors for her! REALLY! Anyways I’m addicted to her blog and can usually be heard early in the morning at the computer with my first cup of coffee reading her blog like she is a long lost love or something eyes glued to the screen laughing like a fool cause she said something so stupid but so funny! Anyways I love you Karen you always make my morning,and for those who haven’t got on board have a look at her site,not that she needs anymore readers.

I’ve been reading Karen’s blog for a couple years now, and she is hilarious. You can spend an hour just reading the comments her fans leave her……and laughing. Some of them are just as funny as Karen. But seriously she has so many good and practical pointers, like how to cut an onion. Who knew? And I’ve been cooking for over 40 years. Thanks for sharing her with us.
