I am a huge lover of hides, and I would never admit to how many I have because the number is crazy! So why am I so obsessed?
It’s not that I don’t love the traditional carpet, I have had plenty in my homes. For me it’s all about the shape. I love that they offer a relief from a traditional shaped carpet,if they were the same shape as other carpets I don’t think they would have the same appeal to me. The other point of interest is how you can layer them,I especially love this over a natural sisal rug,again creating that interest with the shape,I have done this in my front entrance and I love the effect.
I think these few pictures show just how beautiful hides can be in a room layered or not.
